The buck veered off and was now separated from the herd. It was getting tired of running and came to a stop, but swung his head back and forth warning the wolves he isn't going to give up yet.
Nova circled the buck. She knew it couldn't keep its eyes on both of them.

Nova quickly leaped forward and grabbed hold of its side and tore a deep wound open to weaken it. Then she let go and nipped at its legs.

The buck tried to knock Arrow off but eventually fell forward and started to become weak. Nova backed up to let Arrow finish it off.
