) Tessa sank to the ground, "does Endigo know? If so, is anyone going to help them?" Tessa shook her head with mixed feelings about what or what not to do...
"Endigo knows, but he doesn't want to act too quickly. Rumour has it..." Snow began to say what the rumour was, but Endigo came padding up. "Rumour... has... what?" he asked slowly, a dissaproving look on his maw. "I don't want my pack spreading rumours, neither good nor bad. Do you hear me?"

Sonya peered up at her father, the occasional tear still running down her cheek. "What do they want from us?" she asked, scooting a few inches back so that she could see what her father's response would be.

Swampson hesitated, his expression grim. Then, he looked to his daughter and replied. "I don't know." And it was the truth. What could the evil Jargoan pack need with an old, weak dog and his deaf daughter? But he wasn't about to ask, his gaze returning to the opening of the den that the small family was being held in.

Tessa quickly stood, with a quick nod to the alpha to show her respect... " Endigo, sir... Why has jargo taken Sonya and Swampson?" Her legs trembled, she couldn't just sit here and do nothing while her friend, Sonya, was being held captive by one of the most heartless dogs on earth, besides harli...

Jargo lunged at Cujo; "What exactly are you doing?!" he snarled. "If you get within 5 tail-lengths near my den again, I will let Harli kill you, and believe me, she will have NO problem doing so!"
Cujo nodded quickly. "I j-just heard her whine, and thought something was wrong." He said quietly.

Endigo sighed. "I don't know; he's a very hard dog to understand, mostly because he has no soul. Or at least I'm convinced so."

Snow nodded. "C'mon, Tessa, let's go do something to take our minds off our friends in Jargo's hold; there's nothing we can do, so there's no point fretting over it."

Swampson looked to her with some surprise. "Hollyleap, how did ya get here?" he asked in a low voice. Taking in what she had said, he raised a brow. "Now why would they want me fer a perfectly normal thing like that?" he muttered to himself. Must have been something wrong was all he figured.

"But we aren't going to help, are we Dad?" asked Sonya, looking with wide, fearful eyes to her father.

Swampson shook his head, but looked directly at Sonya. "Now what have I always taught ya?" he said sternly. "If'n they need help, that's that. It ain't my job to discriminate ba'tween one hurt dog or another."

Her ears drooping, Sonya nodded. "Of course, father," she said softly, though she wasn't sure she felt right about it.

Jargo appeared in the den. "My mate needs help birthing. If you will not help her, then I will have Delano and Diablo kill this she-dog." Jargo said, and Diablo lunged, snapping his teeth shut in front of Sonya's face, to emphasize Jargo's point.
