"Quite a handful indeed!!! I use to have more tho..." She stopped mid sentence, biting her tongue. She had almost said that she had more, but didn't want anyone to know about her past. *its so hard to keep to myself when Sasha is so sweet, I feel like I can tell her anything* Lia thought.
Sasha looked at her curiously, but kept herself from prying for information.

"Just do what your instincts tell you." Jargo whispered. He watched Harli closely, anxious. Would the sixth pup be alive? Or would it be... Jargo's face fell... a stillborn pup like the others...?

Swampson sighed with relief as the second pup to live was placed by Harli. "Okay, lass, yer almost done," he said to her, awaiting the last pup and hoping for the best.

((ETA: Nevermind, I see Silkies's last post answered that question.

Harli's eyelids drooped, and they closed for a second before snapping open....... the process repeated. Until finally, she gasped in pain, and a pure white pup slid out onto the ground. Harli gazed up at Jargo, again, not wanting to look.

(Starting tomorrow, I'm going away for 4 months to visit some relatives out-of-state, so I won't be on BYC at all. I don't want anyone RPing while I'm gone. I don't want a million things to happen while I'm gone. Man... four months without BYC... I'm gonna die!)
Nooooooooo!!!!! *insert scream here* I'm gonna die!!! Why can't you find a computer and RP from there!!!! Or at least on your mom's phone!!!(if she has an iPhone) D:!!!!)

Swampson set into the last pup, using everything he had for the first five and working past the weary feeling in his legs that had set in after all the time spent on his feet. There was nothing, just nothing, but after seeing two pups live, Swampson was determined not to let another pup go. There was a faint heartbeat, almost nothing compared to the other two, and the pup just wasn't taking a breath.

"C'mon, little one, ya can do it," he uttered, nudging the pup's side. Its mouth moved a bit, but it wasn't getting far. Swampson took a listen at its side. "I ain't losin' another!" he barked, continuing to massage the pup as firmly as he felt safe doing.

Finally, there was a high-pitched gasp, and a small whimper, and the pup began to wriggle around. "That's good a'nuff," Swampson muttered, and he moved the pup to its mother's side, though he watched it very carefully.

Jargo rushed to the pup, looking at Swampson, and watching for any good signs.
