Quote: Tanzanite, a pretty white she-dog with lavender colored eyes, stepped forwards. "Flag... I'm so sorry," she added softly.
Flag nodded, refusing to seem too shaken by Rex's sudden death. He said nothing, but barked for the entire pack to meet in the clearing around the densite.
"As most of you may know," he started a little while later when all the dogs were assembled. "Our alpha, Rex, has left this territory for a new one." he swallowed. "Before his death, however, he told me that I am to be the new Willowpack alpha." Flag said these words with absolutely no pride or arrogance in his voice, and looked down at each dog in turn. "I hope I am an honorable alpha you will all be proud of, and respect."
River stared at Flag with an expression unreadable. Tanzanite sad beside him. Jabbing him in the chest with her elbow, she whispered, "Isnt he awesome?"
Surprised, River stammered a bit. "I, uh... I suppose," he replied.
(*snort* XD)
Flag took a deep breath. "Also, upon me coming alpha, Melanie, had made the decision to retire to the ranking of Packmate. She has led us well." Melanie, mingled with the group, nodded and put on a smile.
(XD)
River stared at his brother, though his eyes weren't focused on him, instead his entire gaze blurry and mixed, disproportional, so that he appeared to be in a trance. Thoughts raced through his mind and he seemed lost in them.
(You only have one character, and the person you were roleplaying with appears to be offline. So you will have to wait for them to get back.)Hmm, no ones answering me. I joined a different dog RP![]()

Flag scanned the pack of the dogs and his golden eyes met his brother's. He could tell that River was deep in thought, and he could also tell he'd probably have some trouble with him soon. Flag then stepped forward, head raised, eyes narrowed, almost asking if anyone would challenge his position.
Flag's eyes widened at his words, and watched River go. Then he nodded to the packmates, and headed to his den.River flinched as the dog moved, and glared coldly up at Flag. "... You are no Alpha," he muttered, unable to contain his strife. Then he turned and with a flick of his tail he vanished into the underbrush.
Quote: Tanzanite, along with Mason and a few other dogs, gasped at River's words. Tanzanite looked at Flag for his opinion, but he was already turning to leave. "Wait, Flag," she called.

Flag stopped and looked over at Tanzanite. "Yes?" he asked, turning to face her.
