"Now ain't th' time t'a be worryin' 'bout that," Swampson replied as gently as he could. "Ya got five more young'ns and they need ya."

((ETA: Is it five more or four more now?))
Jargo looked at Swampson angrily. He needed someone to blame for the pups' death, and he was looking right at Swampson. "It was you: you killed them!" he snarled, angry. He began advancing at Swampson. "You killed them with that chamoline; who knows what you put in that water! Murderer!" he snarled, rage eminent in his eyes.

Harli whined, her body shuddering with the effort of standing. She fell to the ground, and emitted constant whines. "Jargo," She whispered so only he could hear. "Am I going to die?" She whimpered, her voice shaking.
Jargo, not taking his eyes off Swampson, said over his shoulder, "Not on my watch!"

Harli began to sob quietly. Her body shuddered, and another large pup slid onto the ground. Harli didn't turn to look. She just cried.

Swampson gave Jargo a hard look, then approached the wet moss and drew out of it as much water as he could, swallowing it. "Hollyleap, go get more water," he said coldly, his eyes not leaving Jargo. "Now would ya like me t'a eat some chamomile, too, or are ya satisfied?" But before Jargo could answer, he turned to Sonya. "Try an' find more chamomile, girl. We may not 'a gotten enough in her system." And then he returned his attention to Harli. The next pup, he took care of, trying as hard as he could to massage life into it, but there was none to be had. He shook his head, moving it aside with the other stillborn pups. "Keep goin', lass, yer half way done," he uttered to Harli.

Sonya nodded and quickly headed off to search for the plant.

(Are you and SilkiesForEver PMing each other this plan? I am just wondering if that's the case, since you already declared the pup dead...)

Jargo walked up to the dead pup and placed it with the others. He felt angry and sad at the same time; so far they had three dead pups, and no live ones. He hadn't expected for Harli to have dead pups; why couldn't their pups be like Rex and Melanie's pups? He began to feel an angry burn, deep inside.

Harli stared at the three dead pups. Her dead pups. What was wrong with her?! Why couldn't she have live pups?

She whined, and another, very small pup, slid onto the ground. Harli buried her face in her paws, sobbing quietly.
