Rex padded up to Ursa. "There's no sign of Jargo or his dogs?" he said. As a sentry, he expected her to be on the lookout for the Jargoans. He had a strange feeling; things were far to quiet.

"Not at all," said Ursa, shaking her head as she spoke. "I paced our borders a number of times too; so far nothing. Something doesn't seem all too right, don't ya think?"

Cujo whimpered. "What have you got against me?" He muttered, dropping onto his back, exposing his belly.
Jargo snarled. "If Harli was stronger, I would let her tear you to bits, but because she can't, I guess I'll have to. If you come back here again, you will have to face your punishment! Now get out of my face!" and Jargo stormed back to the den, leaving Cujo.

"No, it doesn't.... something's not right about this entire situation. We've been living in peace for several sunrises, now. He's plotting something." Rex said, squinting his eyes, as if trying to see into the Jargoan Territory.

Cujo lay there, watching Jargo leave.
Buck sauntered up to him, his eyes arched in a hidden smile. "Got in trouble again didn't ya?" He chuckled.
"Yeah, stupid dog thinks he's so high and mighty." Cujo snarled.
"He is." Buck growled, his tone low and threatening.
Cujo's ears fell. "Well, I know, I was just voicing my-" He looked up at Buck's cold angry eyes. "Never mind." He squeaked, and slunk away.

While Lia and Sasha talked, Amanda whispered to Jenna... "Come on, follow me, we're going to have a bit of fun" she said with a big grin spread across her face. Jenna bounced up and down, "ooooo!!! A adventure!! What are we going t'a play, what are we going t'a plaayy!!!" She yipped happily. "Shut y'r trap!" Amanda snapped "cum'on, follow me..." Jenna nodded and followed Amanda as she slunked away from her mother...

Faith had just returned from a successful hunt with a squirrel hanging from her maws. She left it by the Alphas' den, smiling with pride, and then turning to head for her own den. But it was too nice of a day to be cooped up inside, with the bright blue sky and the wind whispering through the growing spring grasses... Faith sighed and sat in the sun, enjoying its warmth.

"Yo, Fay," came Taj's voice suddenly from behind Faith, startling her. She leapt to her feet out of instinct and whirled around so fast that her head was spinning momentarily afterward. Rolling her eyes, she shook her head disapprovingly. "What do you want, Taj?"

Taj grinned that goofy grin of his and leaned toward Faith with a look like a lovesick young pup. "What's up?" he said stupidly.

"Not much, Taj. I see you've made yourself useful," Faith replied judgmentally, eying his dripping wet coat. He had clearly been off swimming at the koi pond, the lazy dog. "Why don't you see if you can do something that might help our pack?"

"Aw, don't be like that, Fay," Taj said with a wink, though he headed off toward the Alphas' den anyway, his tail in the air and wagging slowly, lazily.

Faith shook her head again, but she smiled. She hadn't seen Taj so at home since before their old pack vanished. He was happy... and so was Faith. She sighed with joy and sat back, closing her eyes and just dozing in the warmth from the sun. This sure was the life...

Sylver padded up to a large rock, and swept her gray eyes around the territory. Nothing. She had been searching for hours before; no prey. Sighing, she trotted back down, and veered to miss Taj. "Oh, hey." She said happily. A little to happily. Blushing, she hurried towards Faith.

"Hey, hey, Sylv!" Taj greeted with a wink, though he fell silent when Sylver rushed away. With a shrug, he continued on his way to the Alphas' den, rounding it to the front and peering in. "Anyone home?" he called, luckily in a quiet tone as he had thought about it and didn't want to bother anyone if they were sleeping.

Faith looked up as Sylver came her way "Hello, Sylver," she said, offering a welcoming smile. "You okay?" she added, tilting her head and raising a brow.
