"Let's face it, Endigo, you couldn't kill her..." a farmiliar voice contradicted. Endigo whirled around, landed on Jargo, and pressed his jaws down on Jargo's throat. "To protect Nessa..." Endigo said in a strange, raspy, panting voice, "I would do anything!"

Rose didn't even snarl a threat, just threw herself at Endigo in a furious leap.
