Swampson immediately growled back to Mutt. "Ya want my help or not?" he snapped, baring his teeth a little. But Sonya placed her nose on his shoulder, distracting him from his temperamental outburst. "We're getting out of here," she said quietly to Mutt and Yuki, who she noticed was also awake now.

Swampson just rolled his eyes and stepped forward, nosing the latch open on Mutt's cage as he had with Sonya's. He moved to the next cage, Yuki's, and opened it as well, and then went on to the next.

Sonya smiled invitingly at the freed dogs, then turned to watch her father work.

"What do you need me to do?" Yuki asked hoping to be of help

Mutt grumbled, embarrassed, and stepped out of his kennel, keeping one paw over his wounded face, and limping on the other 3.

Jargo sneered. At last, a remark where he could get a good comeback in. "Oh yeah? Well, for your information, I have a spy in Golden Pack! Now didn't you learn something new today!"

"Well, maybe Goldenpack would like to know about that?" He winked again, pointing with his noise to a small dalmatian puppy who was sitting between Kyoushiro and Flint.

Jargo growled. "My spy is a girl! A very pretty young female who just happens to be irresistible to Endigo!" (:hmm)

(What? :hmm)

"Oh? Well, I wonder what would happen if little Riki here told him about what her true intentions were?"

Jargo growled and stepped towards the pup. "So, you're Blue's spy, eh?" he turned to Blue. "This is the best you can do? How low are you going to stoop? Getting puppies to do your work? How do you reckon that makes you look?"

Swampson looked over at the small dog, an almost judgmental look on his face. He looked to the cage he had finished unlatching, then back toward Yuki. "You and Sonya lead these dogs out of here. Quiet by the office building or you might wake the guard. There'll be a part of the fence at the back that's been pulled up. Y'all should be able to fit."

Sonya smiled to her father, affectionately nuzzling his shoulder. "See you on the outside?" she asked.

Swampson gave her a frown. "...Yeah," he said, though he didn't sound very convincing.

Unable to hear his tone, though, Sonya accepted his word and trotted back over to Yuki. "Lead the way," she uttered with a smile.

Meanwhile, Swampson watched his daughter for a moment longer, a sad look on his face. "Good bye, Sonya," he muttered, knowing she wouldn't hear. He then went back to work opening cages.

Mutt limped past Swampson. He paused before going by, and, looking at Swampson with his one good eye, he said, "Thanks... you're a good ole dog."
