Banner danced out of the way, snarling.
Harli eyed Banner's injured leg, then glanced at Jargo, and leaped at Banner, snapping her jaws closed around his leg like a steel trap. Banner screamed in pain as fresh blood poured out of the wound. "Stop! please!" He cried. Harli glared at him, and didn't let go. She wanted to prove herself to Jargo, and this seemed like the best way to accomplish it. "Please!!" Banner howled again. Blood pooled below his wound, and his leg was twisted in a horribly awkward angle. "What do you say Jargo? Should I let him go?" Harli growled through Banner's fur.

Jargo grinned and walked forward. He looked at Harli, grinning, impressed. He stood over Banner for a second, enjoying this undisputed moment. "Isn't this grand?" he said, a wicked happiness eminent on his face, as he strutted about in front of the poor, crippled, dog. "I mean, I am standing before one of my pack members and he isn't resisting at all! Why, this is the best behavior I've seen you in."

The hint of sarcasm in Jargo's voice faded, and he said, in his normal voice, "Let him go, Harli.", and he looked straight at Banner. "Let's not make this mistake again, Banner. It could be your throat Harli gets next!" And with that, he turned and strode away, Harli at his side.

Endigo had several reactions when he heard this: first, he felt light-headed, then, he became excited, and began leaping about wildly. Finally, he nuzzled Nessa and said "Oh, dear, that's wonderful!"
 
Endigo went back to the den and gave a howl. All the Golden Pack dogs appeared before him. "Nessa, my dear mate, has just told me the news..." he howled, "We are going to have pups! They are on the way!" he heard the excited gasps from the dogs. "That means we will need extra food, and she may need care!" Endigo finished his speech and returned to the den.
 
Endigo noticed Sedna. He was very suspicious of her... she was always sneaking off on her own... which was quite weird to him. Oh well...
 
"Congratulations, Endigo!" Sedna smiled. She was a very good actor, and her pretty looks were enough to sway even the most stubborn of dogs. :P
