Rex felt sick. He hated himself. He hadn't stood up for his friend, and now his friend was in even more pain! He rushed to Banner's side and supported his friend.

Banner couldn't see his friend. His vision was blurry, and his head ached so much he couldn't hear. He yelped, and tried dragging himself away from "his attacker". He couldn't move, so he lunged at Rex, but his attack was feeble.


Harli flicked her tail on Jargo's flank. "Who was he? And why was he growling at you?" Her eyes were questioning, but they also held a look of despise.

Banner snarled, then his eyes rolled, and he flopped on his side hard, unconscious.
