Melanie looked up, and smiled weakly. "Rex," She whispered, then whimpered in pain.

Harli shivered with excitement, and bounced up to Jargo, looking down on NegroPack.

Jargo nuzzled her, the murderous gleam in his eyes slowly fading. "Now, I want Delano, Harli, Claws, and Blazzard to come with me!" JArgo howled. "I have an old friend to pick up as well. And with that, he leaped down and led Harli to the front of the cave.

Harli followed, her eyes sparkling.
 
Endigo finally reached Golden Pack. Panting, he met Everest, along with Dixie, who was furiously plotting war.

"Everest; I see you have maintained my pack. Thank you; you are a good soul." he said, gasping for breath, blood pouring from his wounds on his neck, stomach and lower back. He fell to the ground, howling with pain. The blood continued to pool underneath him.

Everest's eyes grew huge. He slipped his beck underneath him, and carried him into the alpha den. "Endigo! How in the wold did you escape?"
 
Melanie looked down at the tiny bundles of fur squirming below her. One pitch black, one black and white, and one pure white. Only three to go. She groaned, and fell to the ground.

"I was cornered in a den, kept prisoner by Jargo. I had started taunting this dumb lug of a dog, and when he got mad, we started fighting. Finally, I knew I was losing; I had wounds and he didn't. I bolted, but because he was so big, he couldn't catch me. So, I got here." Endigo said, wheezing for breath.
