"But if they suspect something, they might kill the pups," she said with sadness. It felt wrong like she was betraying her pack if she and Drifter had pups and her and Storm didn't.

"Even that Butterscotch wouldn't do that. They wouldn't kill pups. Besides,that Storm already has a mate. He's betraying her. Why woudn't he betray you? " He crawled closer. "I'll stay with you forever."

Raven sighed. It seemed like so much back stabbing was going around. She wanted to think of a way to resolve it fairly but no idea came to her. She looked at her paws.

"The only thing I can think of is to let Storm and I have pups first so he can have his "heir". Then we can have our own family together." Shedidn't like this idea at all but kept thinking for another one.

"But you chose me. They shouldn't push you around. Your an alpha after all,not a figure-head. If he wants an heir,he can have one of Echo's pups. She's an alpha,he's an alpha. It would be right."
