Storm would not allow Lunar to hurt Echo. He had never attacked her before but now he through himself in her way and grabed her scruff in his teeth flinging her away.

After ignoring Storm and sinking her teeth into Echo's scruff and ringing it like a dishtowel she turned to her mate and bit his leg with all her might.
 
Now frantic for Echos life Storm did the only option he had. He lunged at Lunars throat in an final effort to release her.

Lunar took no heed to the pain in her throat. She was outraged and was determined to make Echo never come around her mate again.
