This is Scooter. I don’t know yet if it’s a boy or girl but I’m thinking boy. Anyway from hatching it’s been wide open! Never stopped. One morning I went to feed and Scooter had been attacked by another chick. I brought it inside gave it TLC and it was able to be reintegrated into the flock. A few days ago I did my same routine and found Scooter like this. It’s just as bad as the first time but I’ve cried like a baby. This little dude has been through the ringer and looks like meat grinder. So it’s back inside and happy. I am very diligent about my birds and to see this I know you will think I’m not. So I’m going to try to keep posting about Scooters progress because I know if it ever gets healed it’s going to be one tough little bird!!!!
