I don't know if i am doing something wrong but it is very time consuming to go back to index and scroll down to suscribed each time, after i read one that i am subscribed to. Can we have a link up at the top in the blue bar for suscribed maybe next to recent posts. Just much easier, hitting the back button is driving me bonkers or having to go back to index and scroll down each time....

I agree. That is such a good idea.

yeah, you have to hit index, go back to that page, scroll down and hit each time. i also realize that in no way shape or form could i build a site sooooo

Maybe I'm wierd but when I hit the subscribe button on a post I wanna keep track of, (like this one) I get an email alert that brings me to the LAST post I read,or posted, at the end of the thread. I never hafta hit index, or scroll or look for anything. I open outlook, click the link in the email, and bang, there I am where I left off. They keep adding TO it if I don't wanna look right off too. I run an updated XP system with outlook.

I go to the bottom of the index page and click on Show Subscribed Topics- then I open each one in a separate tab of Explorer, and can just hop back and forth- sometimes I have 8-9 tabs active.

If you are using IE and don't have tabs, you'll need to update it.

Let me add to this- I use a mouse with a scrolling wheel in the center, which doubles as a "center click". The center click is what allows me to open the separate tabs easily.

Any way for you to subscript to posts but not have it email you about them? (just have them in a list of subscribed posts)

My work is all email-based and I already get a bahzillion emails a day.

Instead of subscribing to threads I simply post in them, then I can go to the bottom of the main index page and click on "Show Your Posts", and read the new stuff from there. No e-mails at all!
