Hello all you chicken lovers,
I could use a second opinion on whether or not this baby is a roo or pullet. Almost 5 weeks old. Comb development has increased slightly. She/he hatched out of a dark brown egg, and I’ve been stumped as to what cross it could be. As a chick she had two black spots on her head. She is very endearing in that every time I refill the feed and tap my finger in the food she comes running and pecks where my finger is. And whenever she sees me she tries to jump up.
I feel like in my experience it’s always the Roos that are sweetest, but still I’m crossing my fingers that maybe he might be a she.
