One of my 22-24 month old WLH hens started exhibiting a somewhat penguin like stance 2 days ago.
She's not laid an egg since Tuesday.
I brought her in last night to examine her further and to treat for potential egg binding. I started her with a 15 minute warm bath soak and gave her about 300-350 mg Ca citrate with vit. D.
Her crop had maybe 1.5 Tbsp of food in it.
Her abdomen feels enlarged and "firmish", not ascites.
Digital exam about 1.5 inches in found no egg. But it did cause her to produce the following poop.

I wish it hit the white potty pad and not the brown towel. It was yolk colored with tiny bright green pieces in it.
After her blow-dry, she did this one

This is a shot of the flock at roost time last time after I returned her to the coop. She's the one standing in the right corner.

She was in the same position this morning with more bright green tiny pieces in yolk colored watery poops.
This doesn't look good for her.
Opinions on the EYP diagnosis welcome.
I'd like to keep her comfortable if that's even possible but will have her euthanized to spare her suffering. I've no experience with how rapidly the decline is from this if that is what I'm dealing with here.
Her in better times.

Oh, that’s sad. I thought I had a chicken with the same condition and I soaked her and gave her supplements and vitamins. I kept my eye on her and then I noticed she was molting, months later than my others. Hopefully it is some thing else and she will get better.

Lots of things you can try. I had one like this the other day and a simple de-wormer, treatment for coccidiosis, and tubing fluids has her back to normal.
The flock was de-wormed 14 days ago with piperazine.
Why treat for coccidiosis?
I have seen her drinking but maybe not enough. I'd have to get the tube and syringe to tube fluids but could try that tonight.

Piperazine only treats large roundworms. Something like Valbazen or Safeguard would be best for her.

with mine I treated for coccidiosis because that's just what I do. With your hen, I see bubbles in her cecal poop, which, in my experience, means coccidiosis.

tube feeding fluids - all sick birds are probably dehydrated. Give 14 ml per pound and repeat in 60-90 minutes.

I had one like this two weeks ago, did 5 days of amoxicillin and dewormed her with Valbazen. After third dose of amox she started perking up, crop started moving again slowly, poo's slowly returned to normal. She is back with the flock and doing very well now.

I treated with piperazine because they had large round worms.

I will give her a dose a safeguard tonight. I'm reading a dosage of 10-50 mg/Kg. I'll give her 35 mg/Kg and repeat in 10 days.

I believe I have fishmox. What dose should she have? She is 4 pounds.

I will also get the fluids in her during tonight's treatment. I also don't see the harm in giving her a daily Corid drench for 5 days.

I hope this helps her.

Thank you both!

I don't know if these help DL.
The tendency is for all reproductive disorders to get clumped as EYP; there are other causes such as cancers that look much the same with regard to symptoms.
A fecal float will rule out worms, or cocccidia. I don't know how easy that is for you.
Some examples.

There are things you can try but if it is EYP or another reproductive problem they are not going to work in the long term.

A single dose of 50 mg/kg will treat large roundworms and cecal worms, but will not treat capillary worm. If mine, I would give 25-50 mg/kg for 5 consecutive days. The one I treated I actually gave albendazole 3 consecutive days.
I believe I have fishmox. What dose should she have? She is 4 pounds.
If you decide to give it, give 250 mg twice a day.

Corid drench :thumbsup And fluids :thumbsup

The sample on the bottom is exactly what hers look like.
I want to try. It can't hurt to try as long as she isn't suffering.
If I think she is suffering or suddenly goes down hill fast during treatment, she will be euthanized.
