I posted earlier regarding my polish pullet getting her toe cut off. Well, her toe seems fine, but I'm concerned about her head.
Since a lot (and I mean a LOT) of blood was under the roost, I'm wondering if she got her foot caught somehow & fell from the roost.
She is now exhibiting signs of wryneck. It is pitiful to watch. I looked it up using the search & found a link to unicorn's page to treat wryneck. My question is...
Since I believe this was brought on by head trauma, can it still be cured as a vitamin deficiency? Will the treatment be successful?
I hate watching her have an "episode." She's still eating & drinking ok. She hatched about 3 months ago.
TIA for any info or encouragement. She is one of the kids' favorites.
