Up front this sounds like a scam... but if not, send them an invoice, and insist on a cashier's check or Money Order, and wait for the funds to clear before shipping anything. If they're on the up-and-up, they'll abide by your request.

one of the more "popular" scams is for the buyer (scaammer) to send a money order for far to much money, and they 'need" you to cash it and send to them the rest of the money. You cash the money order against your own bank account and send them the change, and then it turns out the money order dosn't clear like it should, but since it was cashed against your bank account...guess whos responsible for it? By the time you try to track the scammer down (usually in another country) he is long gone. That is actually a very common scam

Or they ask you to use a specific shipper.....but you pay the shipper.....the scam is that the shipper is fake and so you pay them the shipping money.....and are both out the product and the shipping money. Something like that.....
