Suspicious mark on face

Just curious if any of you know what this is on my hen’s face. I have never seen this before!

What does the inside of her beak look like? Can you get photos?

Could be Canker.
Could be Cancer.

Looks fine inside her beak. Acting normal. Spot is getting bigger and starting to make her eye squint. Wondering if it’s a tumor

could be coryza.

If she has no yellow or gray material inside her beak, it could be a skin cancer. I would clean it with some Betadine or other disinfectant. If you feel like lancing it, you could see if you get any pus from inside or blood. It may be an abscess, but if it is growing that sounds like a tumor.

It doesn’t hurt to remove a bit of the black scab and probe it for any pus. There have been a few cancers in lesions that look like canker/trichomoniasis reported after having a necropsy done. Here is a link with pictures of canker:
