Sussex Pullet or Cockerel?

I bought 2 Speckled Sussex and only the one survived so I don’t have another to compare it to.
The comb is pretty tall and he stands upright. Are there any other factors to look for?
I suspect Cockerel?

Gotcha, I got confused because the comb hasn't gotten very red. It's still that light pinkish color.

Age? Speckled Sussex tend to comb early IME.

Hm, I see what you mean. I think it just varies.

In the photos he was 5 weeks old.

99% sure that's a cockerel. I've never seen a pullet that young with that much comb. It's still pale because he's still young. I have 2 6 week old cockerels that are just starting to get color on their combs.
