Sussex vs Plymouth Rocks

I have BRs, WRs and SSs...laying is about the same, the Rocks may lay a few more a month, but nothing substantial. I have noticed the SSs eggs are smaller. But in regards to personality and cold-hardiness the SSs get my vote hands-down

They are super-curious and sweet...also I've never seen a chicken stroll through snow like its nothing. Also, when it comes to body-type it seems as though the SS has a heavier breast and the Rocks have a larger body in general. Hope that helps!
