Wow! As you said - sounds like heaven!! What a fun place for all those critters welcome to BYC!Hey y'all. I live in Clark County WA on a beautiful 5 acre patch of heaven. We're mostly forest with a couple of acres of usable land. I started with 9 chickens, quickly went to 16 and now am facing down 30 by end of year. It's wonderful. I work from home and have them free ranging during the day and they often come visit me at my office window. These are egg laying pets. Mixed flock now with 5 barred rocks, 2 EE, 2 RIR, 2 black stars, 2 buff orpingtons, 1 lavender orpington, 1 buff brahma rooster (King Cleo), a tolouse goose named Zeus, a couple of barnyard mix babies, a dozen eggs in the incubator and some Swedish flower hens on the way at the EOM. I've already learned so much by lurking in the forums I figured it was time to introduce myself.
