The swap was really great! I had a great time and saw a lot of nice birds! I didn't sell a whole lot though. Sold a few but found that most people were looking for pets not show birds, not a big deal though. My mother did really well, but her birds were pet quality so she sold a lot more. I did come across a nice mottled pullet though. She's young but looks like she will finish out nice and for the price I just couldn't pass it up!

We are back! after a VERY long day of driving (about 3.5 hours each way) we are all back home safe and sound with a few new additions! We had a really good time, although we didn't bring home peas, not sure if I even saw deerman--I was looking in the tent area but didn't find any pairs of peas anywhere at all, heck we probably just missed them! Maybe next time everyone should wear nametags. LOL I thought about doing that myself, but only while I was driving down with no name tag available

DH also bought me another incubator, WITH turner! WOO HOO! I didn't have any with a turner. Didn't take a pic of that, but it's another LG.

So, overall, good times were had by our little family! Everyone we talked to was just so nice and very, very helpful!

6littlechickies ..... they are old english game bantams ..i have a roo i am looking for a home for . i will even ship him, he is great . when you hold him he doesnt try to get away. i have two of them & only need one.

There were such pretty birds and friendly people there! I agree, nametags would have helped. I was the one in the out- of- place pink and red get-up. I wanted 'em all, but I have found the discepline to stick to my three breeds, Cochins, Seramas, and Silkies. I managed to score a pair of black Cochins. They are mid-molt but still pretty fluffy. Here they are still a little wet from their new chicken bath!

Cochincoop, I don't think I saw your birds there, or I would have bought a hundred! I can't get enough of the balls of fluff......

I was right by the entrance in a red and grey truck.
I still have some if you are interested. There are a few SQ birds left too. My mother was with me and she was selling seramas and silkies too

AAAHHHH! I didn't see the Seramas, either! I need to bring some children with me next time; they won't let me miss anything!
