Hey everybody,I will be bringing one Bo pullet right at four months old, twenty five comets that are a little over one year old that I rescued from horrible conditions and they are growing feathers in nicely and laying pretty much daily, also a Dominiquer rooster that is right at a year old,and a RIR rooster that is a year old, and a rooster that I got from TSC that I'm not sure of the breed it is black with red and green sheen with greenish legs and four months old as well.I may be bringing more not sure if I want to get red of anymore at this time so maybe. Thanks
I am ashamed to say, that because of my poor quarentine practices, my birds will stay home from the swap. They will be available privately, though. I was going to ask $2 for the EE chicks, and the cochin rooster is free, hen $15 with a five dollar discount if you take them both. They have decent type, but there are random blue feathers in each of them. I don't know how ethical it would be to pluck them out for showing, but they would make good breeder birds. I will still be looking for pop bottle waterers and leg or wing bands. Post if you are interested in bubble wrap! I can bring a car load to hand out! Use it for anything, not just for shipping eggs. I keep a sheet taped to my stairwell wall and I punch it when I walk past. I think kids would have a fun time riding bikes over it as well........
Jen the word is spreading fast I have heard from a few of my farmer friends ask if I knew about the chicken swap I said well yes it our group who got set it up. should be a good swap. I'm at the Montgomery county fair all week my girls show our birds tonight hopefully they will do well
If anyone is wanting a Light Brahma, Speckled Sussux, or Barnevelder roo, I have several of each that I would like to part with. They are all around 9 weeks old right now. Please let me know by PM if you are interested. I can take some pictures if requested.
