Swaped out light for broader hen

Ok so i decided i wasnt happy with ma light swaped it out for broader hen .but chicks seem to only go under hen if i have red light in cage why help plz .i dont understand why they need a light to go under the hen anyone ele had this that can tell me what going on left light on last night got up today all under it remove light and they stay away from it .will they go under when cold .will i put light back on there 2 week old quail thanks for any info hope i explain ok

Sorry have dyslexia and not good at spelling that why never go on sites find it hard to get over what try to say .put a spell thing on my phone so hopefully you can red this . it was I had red light set up .but bought heat pad took away light and would not use heat plate .but everything's ok now wake up all under heat plate so all is good do apologise for my fist text .

No problem. I often double and triple check my posts because of it.
