I just put some eggs in the incubator, and about an hour afterwards they were sweating. They are fresh from yesterday's laying. I held them in room temperature for 24 hours before putting them in. Normally this doesn't happen. What causes this? And will it cause the eggs to go bad?

What is room temperature? That is different for a lot of people.

Condensation builds up when the surface is colder than the air. So, obviously the eggs were colder than the air in the incubator and the humidity in the incubator condensed on the eggs. What is your humidity at? It may be too high.

Room temp is @ 70. Humidity is @ 58 in the incubator

Your humidity is up too high which is probably a good part of the issue.

As far as the condensation causing issues with the eggs, I am not sure, though I have heard to try not to get water on them, likely since it will help support bacterial growth.
