I own mostly runners. But i do have one swedish and he is my most friendly out of them all!


I love my boy!!!

I have a 6 week old one that looks just like this but its head just started turning green as well as a few feathers on the back. Is that still a Swedish?

I have a black swedish duck who is 4 weeks old. Getting green feathers on its head and green feathers in other areas too.
Does this mean its a boy? Or do female black swedish get green heads too. Its wings and tail feathers have green in them too. I can only see it real well in the sun tho.

Black Swedish ducks do get beetle green all over in their black feathers. Drakes will actually get a green head I think (I only have ducks.)
