Swedish flower hen colors

Hi I just my my chick's in the mail today! One is a Swedish flower hen which is mostly black with a couple splashes of yellow. I know the chick colors and adult plumage can vary widely but is there any consistency to a specific color chick ending up a particular color?

I'm happy with however she turns out but I was just curious if anyone had experience with this breed and has any insight as to what I can expect?

I have a few Swedish hens and roos.. never seen one that color??? Are you certain that's what it is?

Me either.... well, we will have to wait and see maybe..

She came with a band identifying the her breed and also I recognize all the others so also by default she's the SFH. The hatchery pics show chicks that color too... I guess we'll have to see if anyone else has had or hatched ones that look like her!

I hope she has a crest though it doesn't look obvious at this point

I definitely have had SFH chicks that color, usually if they are crested they are as a chick

this one was similar as chick to yours; she hatched 24 April and this is what she looked like mid July
