the pink legs say he is not sfh. or at least not pure sfh... tho I do see a couple white tips on his tail feathers he doesn't appear to be truly mottled. and he's not splash based (which can hide the mottling), since there is definite black in his tail and hackles... so I would agree, I don't think he's SFH.
I got two livestock guardian dogs, brother and sister Great Pyrenees. They were born IN a chicken coop and have shown no aggression to the birds....but they will catch and love them to death. So training consists of teaching them that isn't acceptable and when I'm not able to supervise, I keep the dogs away from the birds, where they can't catch them. When I mess up and let them have access to the birds without supervision, they will bother the poultry trying to play with them. But they stopped my predator issues 100% day one. I am told this pestering of birds will stop when they reach about 2 years of age. Currently, the dogs have free range of the place at night and are kenneled during the day unless I am outside.
A friend of mine has an LGD that can catch hawks, if the hawks come low enough, and has several times. Mine notice and bark at overhead large birds.
Agree, not a SFH.That rooster does not appear to be a SFH.
