I was just talking to my mom earlier. One of her neighbors (across the street) who has been laid off and has WAAYYY too much time on her hands has been edging people's sidewalks at night. My mom goes for a more natural look for her lawn and doesn't like edging. One neighbor (with small children) threatened to call the police on the "Phantom Edger". They've also threatened to call the police on my mom for attempted murder because their son is allergic to peanuts and he found a whole shelled peanut in his sandbox. They thought Mom put out peanuts for the birds but she showed them the bad and it did not contain peanuts.
