Sweet PDZ and sand

I currently have sand in my coop but it's beginning to smell. Can I add Sweet PDZ to the sand? About what ratio?

I think it's 4 to 1 pdz,I have poop board and use the pdz straight, a poop board will keep your coop 10x cleaner.

I agree with using poop boards. I use sand and leaves and a ton of stuff to compost with. Can you air dry the sand a bit. I would add PDZ and then DE once it's dry. Good luck.
