This is my newest girl, a pretty little black Ameraucana. She is about 11 weeks old. We currently have her in the quarantine cage in the house. I have been letting her out to roam around the living room and stretch her legs. She has become very attached to me. She will come up and snuggle up to me on the couch, so cute or sit on a pillow next to me. When I pet her she purrs, this sweet little purr/whistle/hum sound. She really doesn't like being in the cage when she sees me, she wants out. I hope she will stay as sweet when I move her out into the flock next week. She came from a place that had a lot of chickens so I know she wasn't a pet there or babied, but just one of the group. Maybe she likes the attention she is getting here.
