Swelling on side of chickens eye and earlobe, maybe fire ant bites?

I have noticed this about a week ago. She is perfectly fine and active, although it has not gotten better or worse. I put ant killer around the coop and the ants are all gone thankfully. It is inly on the left side of her face and the earlobe has lost some of its color, she is fine and shows no signs of sickness. Any ideas?

No. because she is a silkie its hard but because she keeps swiveling her head around its really hard but tomorrow i'll look

I would get a good look inside the ear - it should be clean inside. Take note of any pus, waxy material or debris.
