Hello - not sure if this is the best spot or the illness forum, but I figured hatchers would have the most experience. I have a chick that hatched today that has a leg sticking straight out behind it like a swimmer. Putting the leg under her does not cause pain so I've propped her in a cup to see if it correctable. However the leg/foot or seems semi-stiff. Has anyone experienced this? What are the correction chances? I've had luck correcting straddle let and similar but this looks a little tougher to correct.

I'm away from home for the afternoon but I will try and post one later. She could not get up and was laying chest down in the incubator with one leg tucked under her like normal and they other stretch straight out behind. Other chicks would peck at her leg and she would cheep and wriggle but could not get away.
