I put a tiny swimming pool from family dollar in my run and put just a little bit of water in it. So far all that's happened was one pooped in it before I got the water in!

I had the same problem last year. I has a small pool for my turkeys, they love to drink from it get in to soak their feet BUT they pooped in it. By the end of the day it was all green so I had to change the water every day.
