Yes but be sure to provide fresh water for drinking.

Depends upon age...ducks cannot osmoregulate on salt water until they are at least 2 weeks old....after, takes about 10 days before they do not need fresh water while the super orbital glands develop for osmoregulation. After that, they should be fine (mallard derivatives,not sure on muscovied).
