I went from Dumor feed to Nutrena feed and now I'm going through feed much faster.
Is it because they like it more? The pellets are smaller. Or is it because they are less nutritionally dense and they have to eat more? The protein is 16% in both....
Also, has anyone switched from a metal waterer to plastic and now their chickens drink more water?
I used to fill the other waterer every other day, now I fill the plastic one every day. Which is okay, I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
