switching chick food

How old do chicks need to be before switching from chick starter or crumbles to adult chicken feed?

PS- If this is posted somewhere could someone direct me in the right direction.

We just bought some new chick crumbs, and it says on the back to start feeding the chicks adult chicken feed at 16 weeks old...i'm not sure if that's the same for all chick feed though?

I searched "when switch feed" and there are a few more.

Generally you will have to look at the bag to see if it is starter, or start/grow.
