Switching chickens between flocks

I would like to trade two pullets from one flock for one cockerel from a second flock. They are currently in side-by-side pens that share a common wire mesh fence. Would they already likely be acquainted enough that we could just make the switch? The first flock is all pullets except for an 18-week-old banty silky cockerel. Would the silky likely have a problem with a larger cockerel moving in? Thanks...

I am a 'newbie', nonetheless i have two flocks--one that free ranges and lives in a tractor, and the other that lives in a coop and run. I have switched one or two back and forth for various reasons at times. I find that if I make the move at night--no one seems to know or mind. The new one does end up at the bottom of the order for a while, but no problems at all.
