Hello all! I have successfully got my first flock outside to the coop and they’ve been flourishing for around a month now. Then Orschelns had the chicks I was dying for so I had to have some of those. So my second flock is around a month now, fully feathered.
I’m making some changes in my first flock outside today and 2 of the cockerels are being rehomed. I was thinking this would be a good day to introduce the younger ones. I have a dog kennel that I’ll put inside the coop for the littler ones. The weather is 70-80s during the day, 50s at night.
Is this how you would recommend going about it or is that too much change for one day?

Adding the chicks kennel to the coop on same day as cockerels are removed should be fine, might even be a good distraction and getting two changes done at once can be advantageous. Chickens don't like change much, but they get over it pretty quick-in a couple hours to a couple days.

How old are the older chicks?
How many birds in each group?
How big is your coop and run?
Dimensions and pics would help.

Pics below of how I integrated different groups of chicks using a kennel.
I ended up removing the crate door and putting a better piece of fencing over the opening, just bent up a corner of fencing for tiny chicks to fit thru.
I do it differently now when adding chicks to the flock.
@blackdog043 has a better crate set up using cardboard.

Here's what I came up with, I made two doors. I attached the cardboard on the inside with zip ties, to hold it in place. This way I could close the crate door if I needed to. I had access to the brooder from the top of the x-pen. I just noticed your crate only has one door, maybe you could attach a piece of cardboard with a couple pieces of wire or long twist ties, so you can take it down to have access when needed.
