Switching Medicated Starter to Grower question

I've never used medicated starter for my birds, but recently I bought some chicks that were already on it. They are all getting close to the time I switch to grower, 7 or 8 weeks. Is there something special I need to do for the birds on medicated starter? I remember reading NOT to switch them from medicated so I kept feeding them the medicated. But is there anything special to do before switching them to grower?

Not a single thing. Finish up the last bag, open the new one. Fill up the feeders. ;-)

Okay good! SO is it true not to switch chicks that are on medicated to non medicated? I wanted to switch them but I kept them on it because I had read you need to.
