I prefer straw, but am currently using pine shavings. Both are fine, but have their nuances in use.

Grit is just a matter of size.
Yours are adult size birds, so adult-size grit is appropriate for them.

About the fake eggs, i heard it will help show them where to lay and make them think it's safe cause the eggs don't "disappear", but i also heard it can make them broody......so should i use fake eggs or no?

I did. None of my chickens has ever gone broody. I have 3 fake eggs (one is a golf ball) in 7 nests. I move them from time to time.
