Switching to brooder plate and having trouble getting them to use it

I've noticed (on here) that when chicks are switched from a heat lamp to heat plate, it takes them a bit longer to make the adjustment. I love using a heat plate or MHP (momma heating plate).

How are your chicks doing now?
