swollen chest

Help, chick has a very swollen breast but is still eating and drinking well. Still is active. Any advice on what it could be. I'm new to this.

could it be it's crop. if you are looking into the face of your chick the crop is on the left side of chest. it can get pretty big when they have eaten quiet a bit. forgot to say

It could be that it has eaten a lot and it's crop is very full.

Probably ate too much. Does look uncomfortable though. Welcome....

If it looks uncomfortable (big and mushy looking) do a search on sour crop and impacted crop.
