Hi guys,
so i have one chicken and she has swollen eye. We went to the vet and she gave her two medicine(Azithromycin and Metronidazole) for 21 day. i see a little improvment, but her is eye is still a little bit swollen.
Does someone have some advice?,any natural treatments?? Our vet is very expensive and i dont want to give all of my money to him😖
I will be greatfull!
Thank you🙏🏻❤️

Can you post any pictures of the eye? Those 2 antibiotics are not usually affective against MG. ( mycoplasma gallisepticum.) MG can cause bubbles, foam, or gunk in an eye, and the eyelid or face to become swollen from a sinus infection. I would flush the eye with saline and apply either Terramycin eye ointment or Neosporin twice a day to the eye. Tylosin is antibiotic that can treat MG. Get it here:

I would give her probiotics daily for awhile to get her gut bacteria back to normal since she has had a ton of aapntibiotics.
