Swollen Crop?

I have a hen that has a large growth on her chest. It feels similar to a crop, but it's the size of a softball. I was holding her yesterday and it felt like there was something squirming around inside of it. It has been there for a while, but here recently it seems to be bothering her. I thought it was just a small tumor with nothing to worry about. Any ideas? Should I be concerned?

It sounds like a problem crop -- do you see or feel a separate crop?

Thank you! I massaged it for a good 30 minutes and I'm pretty sure it went down in size by half. I'm going to look for a "crop bra" and see how that helps.
