I know this is an old thread, but what happened with the duckling? I have a duckling with the same thing!

Please get your duckling to the vet. If it's an abscess it needs to be taken care of asap. Get some pictures posted here, please.

Hi I have looked through this thread and I have a similar problem with my duck but isn’t as bad, I put my 2 Indian runner ducks to bed last night and didn’t notice this but when I have let them out for a run today I seen this on his/her beak, do you think it is dangerous or will get worse?

That is something none of us know. How is your Runner acting? could you tell if there is a puncture wound or possibly been stung by something?
