Swollen Duck Bill

Hi,
I have a little ducky about two months old and a few weeks ago his beak swelled up. Its huge. I thought maybe it was an infection and needed to be drained so we got him on antibiotics and tried to drain it, but it didn't work. He's still on antibiotics, but he doesn't seem to be getting any better. His bill has gotten so large that it seems to be coming off on the edges. He's still eating and drinking just fine so i don't think he's in pain. Has anybody ever seen this/know what to do about it? My mom suggested a fungal infection. If so, how do i treat that? Can i use regular human anti-fungal cream? Also, he has a hurt foot so he cant walk really well, and falls over alot. it was getting better but now i'm not sure how much is the leg and how much could be sickness. He's also loosing some feathers on his neck. Can he be saved? or would it be better to put him down?

I think your best bet is to switch to your vet! Look online to see if you have any aviary specialists in your area.
I have never seen this before, but don't lose hope! I'm sure this is not the only case.

I had this same issue. I saw this post but no one ever gave an answer to what it was. I took my 4 week duckling to the vet. They found that she cut the roof of her mouth causing an infection to start. If left unattended it will just worsen. They made a small hole on top of her bill and drained it. They gave her an antibiotic shot. They said to keep an eye on her and as it starts to fill take a q-tip and open the hole by rubbing it and drain it. The antibiotics will kick in and it will go away.
