I’m surprised she didn’t want to put her by on an antibiotic just in case an infection of some kind. And she hasn’t laid an egg since when? Is she good at laying

She is still up and down. She can spend hours acting normal then we find her laid up looking in pain. But then after about 20 min she is back and acting normal. One day it looks like the swelling is gone and then the next it is back. We are so confused what is happening.@KeeleyDucks hows your girl doing?
I haven’t had a chance because of the weekend but I will call today. We did a dose of the anti inflammatory pain meds yesterday.Did you contact the vet about trying an antibiotic it may not do anything but then again it may.
Yes but I only notice it when she is not doing well and laying down. Which happens about once a day. I still haven’t seen any kind of egg or soft egg.Is she still pulsating her vent like she needs to lay an egg?
Thank you for the other calcium suggestion. Right now all we have are oyster shells but giving her a larger dose would be helpful. The calcium citrate I can get at the pharmacy. This was the calcium gluconate that they sell at the feed store. https://shop.farmlands.co.nz/ahd-bluecross-cbg-40-500ml/5637155419.p?back=true. Just don't know if that is too high of a dosage since it is meant for cattle.I’d keep up the calcium supplement, if egg bound they don’t last long with out laying but the pulsing and not feeling well makes us know something is wrong in there that needs to be delt with. Some type of calcium, calcium citrate would be my next choice if you can get cal gluconate we had a member last year that had to dose her duck I’m pretty sure 4 days before she laid. From being egg bound
